Steering Committee Meeting: May 4, 2006

The third meeting of the CTAP Steering Committee took place on May 4, 2006 at the offices of The Southern New Hampshire Planning Commission in Manchester, NH with 19 people in attendance. The meeting focused on introducing a Logic Model, an effective method of setting goals and objectives. Leading the meeting were Jack Calhoun and Shawn Margles, both of ANEI, who explained that a logic model is “a systematic and visual way to present …the relationships among the resources you have to operate your program, the activities you plan to do, and the changes or results you hope to achieve.” The Steering Committee will be using a logic model because it allows for measurability at each step and encourages specific, measurable, ambitious goals. The next meeting, scheduled for May 18, 2006, will be a workshop for the Committee to identify goals and timelines using the Logic Model.
